UNIT 1



Strategies for introducing someone or telling others about them. (p.2)

Using the present tense:

Talk about your hobbies and interests

Use words like:-

Verb forms

Which verbs take “to”. Which take “-ing”. Which take both?

e.g. I enjoy listening to music. I like to listen to music. (see. P.13)

Also know the verbs we talked about in class.
(e.g. avoid, deny, stop, finish, postpone, consider, admit, deny, avoid, risk, imagine)

e.g Please stop reading the newspaper (not please stop to read the newspaper)

I avoid meeting my classmates on Thursdays.
He denies taking the chocolate from the store.
